Seven people killed, 20 injured as bus falls into gorge in Ladakh; Army personnel rescue victims

Ladakh Bus Accident News: In the Leh area of Ladakh, a bus skidded off the road and plummeted into a 200-foot-deep valley. Seven individuals perished in the mishap. Twenty more people have been hurt in the same instant.

This accident has been reported by local authorities. Santosh Sukhdev, the deputy commissioner for Leh, stated that numerous school personnel on the bus were headed to a wedding event. The bus plummeted into the Durbuk area’s gorge during this time. The injured were taken to the nearby hospital by the district administration and police, where they received first aid.

Helicopters were used to transport 20 injured people to SNM Hospital and Army Hospital in Leh. According to Deputy Commissioner Sukhdev, two of the injured still have critical conditions.

The Indian Army, Ladakh Police, authorities from the Revenue Department, and locals launched the rescue effort swiftly. Together, everyone contributed to the injured passengers’ transportation to medical institutions.

Big accident during tank exercise in Ladakh, five Indian military personnel died due to rising water level

In the Daulat Beg Oldi district of Ladakh, a tank exercise to cross a river resulted in an accident due to a sudden increase in water level. This resulted in the deaths of five Indian army men, including four soldiers and a JCO.

An officer from the defense department informed news agency ANI that all five bodies had been found.

Early on Saturday morning, in the Nyoma-Chushul area of Ladakh, a tank sank along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) as a result of unexpected floods, killing five military men. The incident happened on Friday night around one in the morning during a training exercise 148 kilometers from Leh.
