Amit Shah Promises Law to Protect Tribal Land in Jharkhand if BJP Wins Power

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a rally in Tamar, Jharkhand, pledged that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) comes to power in the state, it will enact a law to prevent land transfers to “infiltrators,” even if they marry tribal women.

When we form the government, we will bring a law to prevent immigrants from registering tribal land in their name, even if they marry tribal women. We will ensure that any land acquired by these immigrants is returned.”

He promised strict action against these immigrants if the BJP is voted into power, assuring voters, “We (BJP) do what we say. I promise you today that we will remove all infiltrators from Jharkhand.”

In addition to the law proposal, Shah stated that the BJP aims to drive economic prosperity in Jharkhand. He condemned the recent removal of Champai Soren from his post by Hemant Soren, calling it an “insult to the entire tribal community.” Shah said Champai Soren’s call for an end to corruption was ignored by the ruling party.

The upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections are set for November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
