Govt employees in Rajasthan will get full pension

Govt employees in Rajasthan will get the benefit of full pension after completing 25 years of service

After 25 years of service and retirement, Rajasthan Government employees will now only be eligible for a full pension. This age limit was previously 28 years. This choice was made on Tuesday night during the state cabinet meeting presided over by Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan.

The Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996 have been proposed for amendment, and the cabinet has approved it, according to a statement. With this, employees will only be able to get the benefit of a full pension after completing 25 years of service and retiring, as opposed to the previous requirement of 28 years of service. In addition, seniors and family pensioners who are 75 years old would receive a 10% extra pension allowance.

As a result of the meeting, important decisions were taken regarding promotions, pensions, special pay, and designations.
