Heavy rains cause severe waterlogging and traffic jams in the capital Delhi, advisory issued

Delhi, the nation’s capital, has been underwater due to nonstop rain since the previous night. Traffic congestion has been brought on by waterlogging in numerous areas of Delhi. Numerous sections of the National Capital have seen knee-deep waterlogging, causing traffic disruptions and forcing the traffic police to issue an advisory.

People are recommended not to go in this way today owing to traffic on the Dhaula Kuan flyover, Narayana to Moti Bagh, and Ring Road, which is impacted by heavy rain. Jangpura and RK Ashram in Delhi are experiencing major waterlogging as a result of the night’s nonstop, heavy rainfall.

Numerous airlines have canceled flights as a result of the roof collapsing at Delhi Airport Terminal 1 as a result of the heavy rainfall. Additionally, a portion of the airport had to be closed.

Due to traffic congestion in numerous areas, Delhi Traffic Police has also recommended against leaving the house. Additionally, it has been requested to monitor traffic updates in case it becomes necessary to leave the house.
