IMD issued a high alert for heavy rains in 19 states in the next 24 hours

Rainfall Alert: The monsoon has already begun to cause devastation everywhere. In the upcoming 24 hours, 19 states will see severe rains, according to the Meteorological Department’s high alert. Rain is still causing chaos in Delhi, the nation’s capital. Many parts of the capital are water-logging as a result of recent heavy rains.

Six districts of Maharashtra have received an Orange alert advisory today. In Mumbai, 9 persons have passed away in the last 3 days. From south to north and from east to west, the country is experiencing record-breaking rainfall. Even today, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain in Saharanpur, Ghaziabad, Noida, and the surrounding areas.

In Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, six persons became stuck in the middle of the river. A helicopter assisted in the evacuation of the group. These consist of 5 men and 1 woman. In the Dindori district, rivers and streams, especially the Narmada River, are in spate as a result of the rain that has fallen over the past two days.

Gujarat is experiencing significant flooding in many of its regions. Heavy rains are making Junagadh, Surat, and Valsad groan. Many regions have been inundated due to the constant rain.
