On Navratri festival, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation decided that meat shops will remain closed for nine days

Since the Navratri festival started, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has decided to prohibit the sale of raw meat in the city from April 2 to April 10. The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation’s Municipal Health Officer issued an order to close meat shops for 9 days during Navratri.

In the letter, it was stated that the Navratri festival would be held from April 2 to April 10. Consequently, the cleanliness of every temple should also be ensured along with the cleaning of the urban areas. For this period, the Mayor’s office has sent an order to all meat shops in the city ordering them to close for 9 days during Navratri.

Everyone has been directed to make sure that while taking care of the Navratri, there is cleanliness in all the temples in the city, along with cleanliness in their allotted areas, according to the letter. For the next nine days, you should also close all the meat shops in the city. The letter was also sent to the Mayor, Municipal Commissioner, and Additional Municipal Commissioner/Senior in Incharge of Health.
