Sachin Tendulkar Statue: The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, will receive a unique gift on his 50th birthday. His statue will be unveiled at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
A unique honour is being given to Sachin ten years after his retirement. On this ground, where he also began his career, Sachin played the final game of his career. It’s possible that Sachin’s statue will be unveiled on April 23, the day of his 50th birthday, or at this year’s ODI World Cup.
The place of the statue of Sachin has been chosen by Sachin himself. He and his wife Anjali went to Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium for this. Amol Kale, the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, was also in the stadium at the time.
