The three franchise teams’ director will be Ganguly. The International League T20 (ILT20) and SA T20 each include two Delhi Capitals teams (ILT20).
In October of last year, Ganguly announced his resignation as president of the BCCI. He formerly worked with Delhi Capitals. He served as the group’s mentor in 2019. This time, he will also serve as the director of the SA T20 team Pretoria Capitals, the International League T20 team Dubai Capitals, and the Delhi Capitals.
During the mini-auction for the 2023 IPL, the Delhi team released the players and then transferred bets to the new players based on advice from Ganguly and Ponting.
