Mona Agarwal of Jaipur created history in Paris Paralympics-2024, won bronze medal

Paris Paralympics 2024: Indian shooters are still excelling at the Paralympics in Paris. After Avni Lekhara, Mona Agarwal of Jaipur won the bronze medal. Mona Agarwal placed third in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 competition. Avni Lekhara, an Indian shooter, had previously taken home the gold.

Mona Agarwal, a parashooter, placed second in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event, scoring 228.7. She came in third in this manner. In reality, Mona Agarwal, a 37-year-old para shooter, is vying for three medals at the Paralympics in Paris. The numbers show Mona Agarwal’s continuously outstanding performance in international competitions. She also made history by taking home the bronze medal from the Paralympics in Paris.

“I am very happy because she won a bronze medal,” her husband Ravindra said. She put in a lot of effort and was focused on getting a medal. I’m hoping she takes home a gold medal from the next tournaments.”

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh created history, won second medal for India in Paris Olympics

Paris Olympics 2024: Manu Bhaker has made Olympic history in Paris. She has put in the effort to earn India another medal. Indian medal count now stands at two as a result. In addition, Manu Bhaker became the first athlete from India to win two medals at the same Olympics.

Along with her partner Sarabjot Singh, Manu Bhaker took home the second medal for India. In the mixed team 10-meter air pistol bronze medal match, Manu and Sarabjot triumphed 16–10 over the Korean duo.

On July 28, at the Olympics in Paris, Manu Bhaker had earlier won the bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol singles event. Manu started the Indian medal count with her first bronze in Paris. And just 48 hours following his initial triumph in Paris, Manu Bhaker has made history by taking home yet another bronze.

On July 29, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh competed in the bronze medal match of the mixed team 10m air pistol competition. In the qualifying round, they each made 20 flawless shots, good for 580 points.
