NIA attaches property of Hurriyat leader Ayaz Akbar in terror funding case

In connection with a case involving the funding of terrorism, the NIA on Tuesday attached a residence owned by Mohammad Akbar Khanday, aka Ayaz Akbar, the leader of the Hurriyat Conference, in the city’s Maloora neighborhood.

According to police, the detectives located Kansas’ home in Maloora, a close associate of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

According to them, the NIA posted a notice announcing Khanday’s house and land measuring 1 kanal and 10 marla (8,160 square feet).

In the Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out a raid on Hurriyat leader Qazi Ahmed Yasir’s residence on Thursday.
