Team India Triumphant Return Delayed by Hurricane Beryl, Scheduled to Land in Delhi on July 4th

Cricket fans in India will have to wait a little longer to celebrate with their T20 World Cup champions. Team India‘s return flight, originally planned for July 2nd, was delayed due to the disruptive effects of Hurricane Beryl in Barbados.

However, the wait is nearing its end. According to sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has arranged a special flight to bring the team home. The flight, spearheaded by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, is scheduled to land in Delhi early on the morning of July 4th.

The news comes as a relief for not only cricket fans but also members of the Indian media who were also stranded in Barbados due to the hurricane. They will be sharing the special flight back to India alongside the victorious team.
