Cricbuzz reports that the Delhi Capitals team captained by Rishabh Pant will play their next match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune will host the match on April 20. In this match, the Delhi team was supposed to leave for Pune on April 18 itself, but it has been quarantined at its hotel in Mumbai.

Patrick Farhart, physio for the Delhi team, was recently found to be Corona-positive. In addition to Patrick, a player of the Delhi team has also tested positive in the rapid antigen test. For this reason, the Delhi franchise has taken this big step. All players will now undergo RT-PCR tests for two days. Then a decision will be made.
Last year, the economy was hard hit
In India, the last IPL season was also started, which was suspended on 4 May 2021 because of the Corona epidemic. Till then there were only 29 matches in the league. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra were both found to be Corona positive last season. As a result, the IPL was suspended midway.
