Big reshuffle in Rajasthan Police before Lok Sabha elections, Bhajanlal government changed 317 Deputy SPs

Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the Rajasthan administration of Bhajan Lal again undertook a significant administrative operation, transferring 317 Deputy Superintendents of Police throughout the state. Let us inform you that officers bearing the Deputy SP label have been reassigned following the transfers of the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent.

The Office of the Director General of Police, Jaipur has announced the list of 317 Deputy SP label officers for transfer and posting, and it will take effect immediately.

Ajmer North District Circle Officer Rudra Prakash Verma, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Cyber Commissioner, previously assigned to the Jaipur Commissionerate, North, has been sent to the Ajmer North District, whereas Manish Badgujar, the Ajmer Rural District Circle Officer, has been assigned to Buhana in the Jhunjhunu district.

Circle Officer Bhopal Singh Bhati, posted in Ajmer, has been transferred to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur Commissionerate, according to the transfer and posting list released by the Office of the Director General of Police. Meanwhile, Circle Officer Ramchandra, posted in Ajmer South, has been posted to Circle Officer Ajmer Rural District, Ajmer.

The primary suspect, Bhupendra Saran, was taken to Udaipur after being detained by Rajasthan police yesterday at Bengaluru Airport.

On Thursday night, a squad from the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Rajasthan Police apprehended Saran at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. According to the police, complaints have been filed against him at two different Udaipur police stations.
