It’s based on a true story

The sports film “Jhund” revolves around the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of the NGO Slum Soccer. Other stars in the film include Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru. A street football team is formed by street children under the inspiration of a professor.

Nagraj Popatrao Manjule directs the film. Under the banners of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment, and Atpat Films, it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni, and Meenu Arora.
