Later this month, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch 36 satellites for the United Kingdom’s One Web network using its heaviest launcher, the LVM3 or Launch Vehicle Mark III. The launch of 36 satellites as part of the “OneWeb India-1 Mission/LVM3 M2” would herald ISRO’s LVM3 debut into the world market for commercial launch services. OneWeb and ISRO’s commercial arm, “NewSpace India Limited,” have agreed to the launch of two broadband communication satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

OneWeb’s satellites will be launched using LVM3 from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, in accordance with the agreement with ISRO. OneWeb will accomplish more than 70% of its “Gen 1 LEO Constellations” ambition with this launch. The goal of the company’s project is to offer high-speed connectivity to the public, private sector, and general public.
The integration of the launch vehicle’s cryogenic upper stage and the payload fairing with 36 satellites will be finished in the following days, making the project complete by the third of October, according to information released by ISRO regarding the launch preparations on its Twitter account. or will be prepared by the fourth week of launch.
With its headquarters in London, OneWeb is a network of 648 LEO spacecraft that provides global communications. This year, it began in February.
