Rajasthan Weather: Western disturbances active, alert issued regarding rain in these districts

Once again, the weather in Rajasthan is changing. A cyclone system that was active Wednesday caused light rainfall in Rajasthan’s areas. Likewise, an alert has been issued for light rain with thunderstorms and Dust Storm. Rajasthan has been experiencing a Western Disturbance, according to the Meteorological Department. When such a situation occurs, some districts may experience rain.

In these districts, light rain will fall

Strong wind and light rain are forecast for eight districts due to the Western Disturbance, according to Radheshyam Sharma, director of the meteorological department. In Jaipur, Tonk, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, and the surrounding areas, the Jaipur Meteorological Center forecasts light to moderate rain and thunder. Thunder and lightning are also possible in Bharatpur, Alwar, and surrounding areas.

How is the weather so far?

Some areas of the state may see rain today, according to the Meteorological Department. However, temperatures are rapidly dropping. A state that is experiencing an increasing winter can’t be expected to see its effects in such a scenario. In the next three days, the weather is expected to remain dry, which will lead to an increase in temperatures.

Netherlands: Alert issued regarding Eunice Storm, 167 flights canceled

Several flights have been delayed in the Netherlands due to storm warnings. Dutch airline KLM says it canceled 167 scheduled flights on Friday due to the storm. The Meteorological Service of the Netherlands has requested that the public be alerted to the Eunice storm.

Flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol may be disrupted on Thursday 17 February and Friday 18 February 2022 due to thunderstorms in Amsterdam. 167 flights were canceled.
