The violent game had begun in West Bengal with the publication of nominees for the panchayat elections on June 5. A four-member inquiry committee has been established by the Bharatiya Janata Party to look into the state’s panchayat elections violence.
Former Union ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad, Satyapal Singh, Rajdeep Roy, and Rekha Verma have all remained on this team under Party national president JP Nadda. In order to look into the causes of the violence, this committee will visit the violent districts of Bengal. As soon as it has finished, it will create a report and provide it to the National President.
In Bengal on Saturday, there were 19 fatalities in the violence that occurred during the panchayat elections. A number of voting places were looted. The voting box had been looted by the criminals. The ballot box was witnessed being thrown down the sewer as people fled. The DMs of every district have been asked to submit a thorough report on the election-related violence to the State Election Commission.
