Hotels and lodges in Tamil Nadu must provide dormitories and toilets to vehicle drivers as part of new rules amended by the Tamil Nadu government.
According to changes established by the government, hotels, and lodges must offer a dorm to give guests’ drivers access to exclusive housing.
In an amendment to the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building (TNCDB) Rules, 2019, hotels and lodges are required to provide amenities such as dormitories for vehicle drivers. TNCDB has tweaked two specific rules in this regard.
