AAP leader Sanjay Singh could not take oath as Rajya Sabha MP, Rajya Sabha Chairman gave the reason

On Monday, February 5, AAP leader Sanjay Singh will not be able to take the oath of office as a Rajya Sabha MP. The head of the Rajya Sabha has forbidden Sanjay Singh from taking the oath of office as an MP. The Chairman states that the Privileges Committee is now handling this issue.

We would like to notify you that Rouse Avenue Court granted partial relief to Sanjay Singh, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party. Sanjay Singh was granted permission by the court to leave prison and take his oath in the Rajya Sabha. But the chairman of the Rajya Sabha has already refused to let Sanjay Singh take the oath of office as an MP before Monday’s swearing-in ceremony.

Sanjay Singh had petitioned the court for interim bail on Thursday, February 1. He requested a seven-day temporary bail so that he may be present at the swearing-in event on February 5. additionally be permitted to take part in the Parliamentary session, which takes place from February 5 to February 9.
