The other rates will stay unchanged if there is no change in the repo rate. The Reserve Bank of India has maintained the current rates for reverse repo, standing deposit facility, marginal standing facility, and bank accounts at 3.35 percent, 6.25 percent, and 6.75 percent, respectively.

The RBI has not changed the repo rate in the face of growing concerns over the nation’s rising inflation rate. Since February 2023, the repo rate has been maintained at 6.5 percent by the RBI.

FIR has been lodged by the Sector Officer and necessary action has been initiated. The polling process is going on smoothly in all six booths under the sector and papers have been made available to Sector Officer.”

Arvind Kejriwal gets a big blow from the Supreme Court, refuses to hear the plea seeking extension of bail period

The Supreme Court gave a setback to Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the chief minister of Delhi. In the most recent instance, the Supreme Court registry declined to issue the plea asking for an extension of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail on Wednesday.

Kejriwal was given temporary release by the court last month so that he could take part in the Lok Sabha election campaign. He was told to turn himself in by June 2 after the elections were concluded.

Following that, he petitioned the Supreme Court to extend temporary bail for a week so that he could have a medical examination. He had asked the Supreme Court to grant him permission in the petition to turn himself in on June 9 rather than June 2.

But the Supreme Court refused to hear Arvind Kejriwal’s petition to extend the bail period.
