Mumbai: Actors Huma Qureshi, Chandrachur Singh, and Sachin Khedekar are set to star in the investigative drama “Bayaan,” it was announced today. The film will be written and directed by Bikas Mishra, known for his acclaimed feature “Chauranga.”

The film “Bayaan” was developed at the Los Angeles Residency program of Film Independent’s Global Media Makers (GMM) initiative. During this residency, Mishra received mentorship from Craig Mazin, creator of the acclaimed HBO miniseries “Chernobyl,” and script development guidance from writer Jeff Stockwell and story editor Ruth Atkinson.
