Legendary actor Kamal Haasan and director S. Shankar are back together for the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 blockbuster, “Indian.” Titled “Hindustani 2,” the film will hit theaters on July 12, 2024.

The Hindi trailer for “Hindustani 2” was released, showcasing the return of Senapathy, the vigilante hero played by Haasan. The original “Indian,” released in Hindi as “Hindustani,” was a major critical and commercial success, known for its action-packed storyline and social commentary.

“Hindustani 2” is produced by Subaskaran and features an all-star cast alongside Haasan, including Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, and S.J. Surya. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. The Hindi version will be distributed by PEN Studios.
