According to a recent leak, it appears that the design of Google’s upcoming Pixel 7 series will be similar to the Pixel 6 series.
Google Pixel 7 Pro renders have been leaked online, indicating that the design will remain relatively the same. The renders, however, indicate that the camera bar design on the back panel has changed. A YouTuber named Technizo Concepts has created a short video for the smartphone-based on leaked renders. The periscope telephoto lens has now been separated from the other two lenses in the phone’s camera bar, according to reports.
Pixel 7 Pro to have a QHD+ display
The Google Pixel 7 Pro may come with a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch curved OLED display with a punch-hole design. The upcoming flagship smartphone will also feature a QHD+ screen resolution (1440p) with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected that Google will sell the Pixel 7 series in four colors – Stormy Black, Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam, and Cloudy White. Protective Gorilla Glass Victus Plus will be installed on the OLED panel and glass backside of the phone.
The Pixel 7 Pro will have Google’s second-generation Tensor processor
The Pixel 6 series are the first smartphones equipped with the company’s Tensor processor. Pixel 7 series is expected to be powered by a 2nd Gen Google Tensor chip, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Code-named Cheetah and Panther, respectively, the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones are slated for release later this year. Android 13 is expected to be supported by these phones.
The Pixel 7 Pro will have three sensors at the back
Pixel 7 Pro will feature a black-striped camera setup instead of a square camera setup. The camera setup will get three sensors, which, apart from the main 50MP camera, will also have a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2) and a 48MP telephoto camera with periscopic zoom. On the Pixel 7 Pro, there will be a SIM compartment on the left. Under the volume buttons, you’ll find the power button on the right side of the device.
No charger will be provided with the phone
There is no information yet about the Pixel 7’s battery capacity and charging options. Additionally, Google has chosen not to include charger in the box like Apple and Samsung. Customers must purchase the charger separately, or they can continue to use their old charger. In addition to being dust and water-resistant, Pixel 7 Pro will be IP68-certified.
