Kolkata Doctor Rape Murder Case: The Supreme Court heard the case of a female trainee doctor who was raped in Kolkata today. This subject has been brought before the court suo motu. Regarding this issue, the court questioned the state government, the police, and the hospital administration severely.

In addition, the court has mandated the establishment of an eight-person National Task Force during the hearing. The task committee will include the head of AIIMS. In three weeks, the task force will turn in an interim report.

Protesters enter hospital premises in Kolkata rape case, Governor CV Ananda Bose visits hospital

Kolkata Doctor Rape Case: The rape and killing of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, has outraged people greatly. Now, angry demonstrators have broken into and destroyed RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata.

There is news that the hospital’s demonstrators also targeted the police station. When Governor CV Ananda Bose arrived at the hospital, the protesters also raised slogans for him.

At Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College on August 9, a 31-year-old trainee doctor was allegedly the victim of a gang rape followed by his murder. Protests have been ongoing ever since the case became public.

Meanwhile, the doctors in Kolkata who were protesting became angry. They went onto the hospital grounds and started a disturbance. There were also vandals at the police barracks. Governor CV Ananda Bose visited in the interim to inspect the hospital. The doctors demonstrating in front of the governor held signs that said, “We want justice.”

Gov-issued safety alert regarding ‘Meftal’ painkiller, said – excessive consumption can increase problems

Depending on over-the-counter pain relievers for headaches, body aches, or any other type of pain without first visiting a doctor might be risky. The painkiller medication “Meftal” has now triggered a safety alert from the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) for medical professionals and the general public.

It has been suggested that consuming too much Meftal can exacerbate severe allergies like Dress Syndrome. The body as a whole may be affected, which will make the issues worse.

“Health care professionals and patient-consumers are advised to closely monitor the possibility of the above-mentioned adverse reactions (ADRs) associated with the use of the suspected drug,” reads the alert, which was released on November 30.

Healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers have been warned by IPC to cease using Meftal medication right away if any negative side effects are noticed.

In accordance with the new regulation, doctors rather than airline firms will determine whether a disabled customer is fit to fly. Only that person will be barred from the aircraft if the doctor objects to boarding for any legitimate reason during the examination.

The airline will not refuse to transport any customer on the basis of handicap, according to a directive issued to airline operators by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the governing body for airline businesses.
