An earthquake of 3.3 magnitude was felt in Assam, epicenter was at depth of 7 km in Bongaigaon

Assam Earthquake: Assam experienced a mild earthquake on Tuesday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

The epicenter of the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 3.3 and was located at a depth of 7 kilometers at Bongaigaon, was reported by NCS on its X handle. On Tuesday, the earthquake struck at 11:44 a.m. Different sections of the state experienced minor tremors.

Earthquake tremors in Assam’s Tezpur after Ladakh, intensity of tremors was 3.7

In Tezpur, Assam, there have been earthquake tremors. The shocks had a Richter scale magnitude of 3.7. On the other hand, Ladakh residents also reported feeling earthquake shocks.

The National Centre for Seismology states that the earthquake struck Assam at 10:55 am. Its center was 10 km below the surface and 39 kilometers from Tezpur.

Ladakh saw earthquake tremors at 10:23 am. Its center was 10 km deep within the Ladakhi territory. It registered 3.9 on the Richter scale for intensity.
