Audi Q8 e-tron 2023 electric car model launched, will be fully charged in half an hour with a range of 600 km

The Audi Q8 e-tron, a facelift version of its e-tron electric SUV, was unveiled by luxury automaker Audi. The vehicle will take the place of the Q8 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron Sport back, which are currently available for purchase. Three variations of this SUV are available: the 50, 55, and S.

This SUV’s range is up to 600 kilometers, and its battery can be fully charged in 30 minutes. Currently, this model is available on the global market and may be introduced in India.

Dual motors are installed in the front and rear of the Audi e-tron 50 and 55 models. The motors in the 50 variants produce 340 horsepower and 664 nm of torque, while the motors in the 55 variants produce 408 bhp and 664 nm. The twin-motor configuration on the back axle of the S variant produces 503 horsepower and 973 nm of torque.

With the revised 89 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Audi Q8 e-tron 50 and Q8 Sport back e-tron 50 offer ranges of 491 km and 505 km (WLTP cycles), respectively. You will also get a range of up to 600 kilometers in 55 variations. The top-of-the-line S model, which has a 104 kWh battery pack and a range of up to 513 km, is also available.

The full charge will happen in half an hour

The Audi Q8 e-tron 50 charges completely in 9 hours and 15 minutes using an 11 kW AC charger, but just in 28 minutes using a 150 kW DC fast charger. A 170kW DC fast charger can charge the battery pack of the 55 and S models from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.

The Indian auto market is a major priority for the German automaker Audi. Audi India recently unveiled the facelifted Audi A8 L model, and it is currently preparing to unveil the brand-new Q3. Audi’s social media account has officially teased the 2022 Q3 model. It’s anticipated that India will get it next month (September 2022).

In 2019, the brand-new Audi Q3 debuted internationally. Its rollout in India, however, has been postponed. However, it is now prepared for introduction in India. It will be challenged on the market by vehicles such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40.

New Audi Q3 Design

The 2018 Audi Q3 takes styling cues from the Q8, the SUV that serves as the brand’s flagship. It has an octagonal grille up front with eight vertical chrome slats. This high-end SUV will have LED tail lamps with DRLs, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and matrix headlamps. A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree parking camera will all be included in the latest generation Audi Q3. In its boot, there will be an adjustable floor. It has a 675-liter trunk that can be increased to 1,526 liters by folding the back seats.

New Audi Q3 Engine

the India-specific A 2.0-liter petrol turbocharged engine, also used in the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Skoda Kodiaq, will power the Audi Q3. There will be a torque of 320 Nm and a horsepower of 187 in this engine. A 7-speed DCT can be coupled with it. Three different engines are available for the international-spec Audi Q3: a 1.5L turbo petrol (150bhp), a 2.0L turbo petrol, and a 2.0L turbo diesel.
