Gujarat is hosting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a three-day visit. It is the second day of their tour. PM Modi opened the state-of-the-art dairy complex at Banas Dairy Complex in Banaskantha. The prime minister will lay a foundation stone for the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine today (Tuesday).

AYUSH Ministry informed that on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony of WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth, Director-General of WHO Tedros Ghebreyesus will be present. Apart from that, PM Modi will do a roadshow in Jamnagar at 1.30 p.m. After this, PM Modi will go on a roadshow in Ahmedabad at 5 pm.
A traditional system of medicine should be encouraged
The Prime Minister of India recently announced that the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine will strengthen efforts to use traditional systems of medicine to advance global health.
Visit Banas Dairy by PM Modi
Today (Tuesday), PM Modi also visited Banas Dairy. PM Modi said that he was glad to be in Banas Dairy once again. In 2016, I visited a dairy for the first time. At that time, a series of dairy products were introduced. In 2013, I visited the dairy as well.

He began his Gujarat visit by visiting the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in the capital, Gandhinagar, which collects and analyses over 500 crore data sets each year from schools.
