The inquiry into the bomb was still ongoing late on Saturday night in Amritsar, close to the Saragarhi parking lot near Sri Harmandir Sahib, then on Monday at around 6.30 am, there was another blast. According to reports, one individual was hurt.
Senior police officials arrived at the scene as soon as they learned about the second explosion. A forensic team also arrived at the scene, and various samples were taken there. Following both explosive incidents, there is fear and a sense of panic in the neighborhood.
Police issued an advisory in the meantime to preserve harmony and tranquility. He advised individuals to verify the information before posting it on social media and said that the situation is under control.
