Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren arrested in land scam case, BJP became active after resigning

Jharkhand News: On January 31, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was taken into custody in connection with the purported land swindle. Champai Soren will take over as Jharkhand‘s chief minister after he resigned from office. Let us tell you that the state Chief Minister Hemant Soren was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for hours on Wednesday in Ranchi as part of the probe into the money laundering case linked to the purported land scam.

Before his arrest by the ED yesterday, former chief minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren stated, “As Shibu Soren’s son, I am not concerned that I would probably be arrested by the ED today. They chose to arrest me on unrelated charges after questioning me for the entire day. So yet, they have not discovered any evidence. They also attempted to damage my reputation by carrying out raids at my house in Delhi. Now is the time to start a fresh battle against those who harm the underprivileged, Adivasis, Dalits, and innocent people.”

Meanwhile, reports are circulating that the BJP has begun seeking fresh chances following Hemant Soren’s resignation. In addition, the idea of enforcing the President’s rule throughout the state is being discussed. It hasn’t been formally verified yet, though.
