BSF recovers 14 small packets of narcotics in Firozpur, Punjab

On Wednesday, Border Security Force (BSF) recovered 14 small packets of heroin, estimated to weigh approximately 500 grams, from the border.

In the Firozpur district, BSF troops were conducting an area dominance patrol when they saw strange footprints close to the village of Gandhi Kilcha. During the search, they discovered suspected heroin packages that had been wrapped in yellow adhesive tape.

The Border Security Force stated in a press statement that on Wednesday at around 6:45 a.m., the personnel conducting an area domination patrol in front of the border fence saw odd footprints close to the village of Gandu Kilcha in the district of Ferozepur.

Mizoram: An Assam Rifles battalion from Aizawl seized 51.550 grams of heroin worth over Rs 25 lakh on 20 February in Kulikawn, Aizawl. There have been two arrests, one of whom is a Myanmar national.
