Shreyas Iyer won’t play in the first two Test matches, the report states. Iyer actually missed the entire series against New Zealand because of a back problem, and the latest reports indicate that he is still not totally healthy. Due to this, the Indian cricketer would be unable to participate in the first two Test matches.

In Iyer’s presence, Suryakumar Yadav will undoubtedly participate in the Test match. In other words, Suryakumar might make his Test debut against Australia in the opening game.

The WTC rankings now place Rohit Sharma & Co. in second place. In addition, this Test series is crucial for players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The first Test between India and Australia will take place in Nagpur from February 9 to February 13 at the same time. The series consists of 4 test matches.

IND vs AUS: India defeated Australia by 6 runs in their inaugural encounter. The score of 186 runs was successfully defended by Team India in the game at the Gabba in Brisbane, while the team was outscored by 180 runs. The two sides’ battle went down to the final ball, and India prevailed thanks to Virat Kohli‘s excellent fielding, Mohammed Shami‘s accurate bowling, and Harshal’s outstanding 19th over.

Virat Kohli, though, not only stopped Cummins from hitting an overhead shot for a six close to the boundary with the next ball but also caught it and got it out. Ashton Agar is run out by Shami on the subsequent ball. Australia was on the verge of losing the game when Shami delivered twin blows on the final two balls, giving India the victory.

With KL Rahul (57) and Suryakumar Yadav (50), India scored 186 runs in 20 overs after winning the toss and batting.
