Instagram has added 7 new messaging features today, including music reviews, sending a message silently, and seeing who’s online to chat. In this announcement, Instagram is expanding its capabilities to make it easier for you to connect with and share with your friends.

There are seven new features in Instagram’s messaging today. Instagram (Meta) announced its goals at the end of last year, including making connecting with your closest friends more seamless and fun.
At the Right Time, you can browse and chat
To make chatting, sharing, and responding to people easier, we’ve made several modifications:
1.) Reply while you browse
Are you reading your feed when you receive a new message? With this feature, you can respond without having to go to your inbox. Chatting on the app has been made easier and more convenient thanks to this new feature.
2.) Quickly send to friends
Using Instagram’s latest service, you can reshare interesting content without interrupting your Instagram experience. Resharing posts with your closest friends is as easy as tapping and holding the share button.
3.) Check who’s online now
You can see who is available to chat with right now at the top of your inbox, allowing you to connect with friends at the right time.
Message Threads: A New Experience
These new features will allow you to customize your message threads:
1.) Play, pause, and re-play
Soon, you will be able to share a 30-second preview of a song you can listen to directly in the chat window. It’s compatible with Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
2.) Send messages quietly
If your friends are busy or late at night, add “@silent” to your message to avoid waking them up. With this new feature, you can contact others without being bothered by unwanted notifications.
3.) Lo-fi all the way
You can create a more personal chat experience by using the new lo-fi theme.
4.) Organize a poll with your team
What time should we meet? Where will we watch the movie? Using Messenger’s new polling feature, you can create a poll directly in a group chat on Instagram, one of the most used features.
