ICC T20 Rankings: Indian players shine in the ranking, this Indian batsman reached the top 10 for the first time

ICC T20 Rankings: After the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa, the ICC has released a new ranking for T20. After this series, it was certain that Indian players would dominate the rankings. Something similar has been seen where there has been a huge difference in the ranking of many Indian players.

Indian players amazing in ICC rankings

In the latest ICC T20 batting rankings, veteran Dinesh Karthik gained 108 places to 87th position, and young opening batsman Ishan Kishan broke into the top 10. Kishan scored 206 runs against South Africa in a five-match series. He scored two half-centuries and averaged 41 in the series. In the latest T20 rankings for batsmen, the left-handed cricketer has reached the sixth spot thanks to this form.

There was a ruckus in IPL too

During the T20I series against South Africa, Karthik played some flamboyant innings in excellent form since the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Only Kishan is among the top 10 Indians in the T20 batting rankings, with Pakistan captain Babar Azam at the top.

Chahal’s progress

Among bowlers, Yuzvendra Chahal has made the biggest leap. As a result of the six wickets he took against South Africa, the Indian spinner finished 23rd. The T20 bowling rankings continue to be topped by Josh Hazlewood. Rohit Sharma’s team played a stormy game

Team India scored 184 runs for the loss of 5 wickets after losing the toss and opting to bat first. The best Suryakumar Yadav performance in T20 Internationals was 65 runs in 31 balls. During and after the World Cup, Rohit Sharma and the Man in Blue dominated the T20 format. India has won the ICC T20I rankings, beating England with 269 rating points. Team India occupied the top spot in the T20 format last between 12 February 2016 and 3 May 2016 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

As well as topping the ICC T20I rankings, Team India under Rohit Sharma recently established a record of winning 100 T20 Internationals. There have been 155 T20 International cricket matches played by the Indian team and they have won 100 of them, including 97 wins from standard matches and three wins from tie matches, which also included two Super Over wins.
