Muslim girl students protest in Jaipur against Balmukund Acharya, provoked by comments on hijab

Jaipur News: Hundreds of Muslim students from Jaipur’s government schools marched against BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya of the Hawa mahal assembly constituency at the Subhash Chowk police station. The female students are carrying signs criticizing the local MLA as they demonstrate in front of the police station.

The news claims that local MLA Balmukund Acharya was called for the yearly function, and students at the government school in the Gangapul district claim that religious chants were raised during the event. Also discussed was the hijab. Students claim that the local MLA’s religious shouts during the yearly function were inappropriate.

It is notable because Balmukund Acharya, the BJP MLA representing Hawamahal, has a long history of being involved in controversy. Following the BJP’s triumph in the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, a video of him alerting a Jaipur police officer over the phone about the removal of meat businesses became popular on social media.

After some time, a video of Jaipur Hawamahal MLA Balmukund Acharya is going viral on social media, in which he is telling what is his stand.
