CRPF bunkers were attacked with petrol bombs in Sopore, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. A woman wearing a burqa threw a petrol bomb at a CRPF bunker on Tuesday evening, then fled the scene. Fortunately, the fire was brought under control in time and no one was injured.

The attacker’s picture is recorded in the CCTV installed at the CRPF camp after the petrol bomb attack. The search has been intensified as a result of the cordoning off of the area and the presence of security forces. A petrol bomb thrown by a woman at a bunker of the CRPF in Sopore has been tracked, Kashmir’s IGP Vijay Kumar said. She will be arrested soon.
Clearly visible in the CCTV footage is a woman wearing a burqa stopping on the road a short distance from the main entrance to the CRPF camp. As soon as she takes something out of her bag, she sets it on fire before anyone can understand it, and immediately flees by throwing it toward the CRPF camp. Flames are visible following the explosion. CRPF personnel at the entrance put out the fire immediately after the incident.
