Salasar Balaji: In Rajasthan, the idol of Ram’s court was demolished in the dark of night, video went viral

Near Salasar Balaji in Churu district, Ram Darbar’s grand entrance was demolished in the middle of the night on the Sujangarh-Salasar main road. Social media is flooded with videos of idols of Ram Darbar being destroyed by JCBs and bulldozers in this entry.

BJP and Hindu organizations have expressed outrage in the wake of the virality of the video. In fact, the road needs to be widened to make Salasar-Sujangarh four-lane. Ram’s court was lined with stone idols on this route. PWD’s contractor demolished this entrance using JCBs on Tuesday night, 15th March. In this case, neither the idols were removed nor Hindu organizations were notified. A contractor directly demolishes this grand gate by demolishing it. Hindu organizations also demonstrated by blocking the road on March 16, when they learned of this.

PWD officials said idols would be returned

The state BJP president Satish Poonia also tweeted this video from the BJP Twitter account and wrote, “The policy and intentions of Congress and Ashok Gehlot ji are opposing…the first builds the Shri Ram temple, the latter takes it anywhere. It should be ruthlessly destroyed …that which is not of Shri Ram…that is of no use to anyone.”

Rajasthan government gifts iPhone to 200 MLAs; BJP preparing to return

After the state budget presentation for 2022-23, the Rajasthan government on Wednesday gifted Apple iPhone 13s to all 200 legislators in the House. In keeping with a gift-giving culture, the Ashok Gehlot-led government handed over the new iPhone 13s to all the MLAs alongside a copy of the budget. Later, the state BJP announced that it would return the mobile phones given by the Congress government.

Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday presented the budget for the year 2022-23 by the Rajasthan BJP as disappointing. The opposition party said they did not present any concrete plans to get the state’s “shaky” economy back on track. According to Satish Poonia, state BJP chief, the party will return the iPhone gifted by the Congress, which is valued between Rs 75,000-1,000,000.

The BJP, which has 71 members in the 200-member House, said it would return the gifts rather than burden the state with the expense. He tweeted, “After discussion with Gulab Kataria, Rajendra Rathore, and other MLAs, it was decided that considering the financial burden on the state government, all BJP MLAs in Rajasthan will be given iPhones by the Congress government and will return it.”

Congress awards iPhones to 200 legislators

In a statement, the state BJP chief also attacked Chief Minister Gehlot for his budget presentation and said he was good at making announcements but had a difference between words and actions. Rajasthan’s 200 legislators receive iPhone 13s from Congress. A gift like this would have cost the state about Rs 1.5 crore. The majority of MLAs were happy with the Chief Minister’s gift, except for the BJP, which will now return them. There has been more than one time when Congress has gifted all MLAs with iPads along with copies of the budget in the past.

New guidelines of Corona issued in Rajasthan, shops will open till 10 pm, know new restrictions

Rajasthan News: Although Omicron sparked panic in Rajasthan, Corona cases have also caused a stir. A new guideline has been issued by the Rajasthan state government.

On Wednesday, the State Council of Ministers reviewed the situation in Covid19. In light of the increasing infection in the country, the Gehlot cabinet took the decision to impose restrictions. The state has now made vaccinations mandatory. The curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. has been given instructions for the effective observance. Both doses are required in cinemas, theatres, and multiplexes.

Malls, shops, and commercial establishments will close at 10 p.m. Festivals, weddings, and ceremonies will be limited to 200 people. The District Collector must grant permission to more than 200 people. There will be a fine of ten thousand rupees if more than five people are found in the group.

Cinema halls, theatres, multiplex-auditoria and exhibition halls will be open until 10 pm. Business establishments, malls, and shops will be able to open at 10 pm.

The Rajasthan government reported 97 new Corona cases simultaneously on Tuesday, after 181 days. This has stirred up the health department. In Jaipur, 75 cases have been reported. Accordingly, the state now has 438 active cases. Due to the third wave of Corona, vaccination has been accelerated in Rajasthan.
