In a piece she wrote a few years ago for Humans of Bombay about her love story with Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa wrote: “It was magic. He had a very powerful passion, and I couldn’t respect him anymore than I did then! Talked about our work, love for cinema, passion… Throughout his struggles, I never gave up on him. How could we not fall for each other?”
In the film CityLights, Patralekhaa debuted in Bollywood opposite Rajkummar Rao. The actress has also appeared in other films besides Love Games, Badnaam Gali, and Nanu Ki Jaanu.
Love, Sex Aur Dhokha marked Rajkummar Rao’s Bollywood debut. Kai Po Che was his breakthrough role in 2013! Also, Rajkummar has appeared in movies like CityLights, Shahid, Omerta, Newton, and Aligarh, which have received critical acclaim. A recent film of the actor’s was Hum Do Hamare Do. Badhaai Do and Monica, O My Darling are two of his upcoming projects.
Priyanka Chopra starred with Rajkummar Rao in The White Tiger earlier this year. Additionally, he has appeared in the horror-comedy Roohi alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma.
