Revanth Reddy took oath as CM, other 11 MLAs also took oath as ministers

Revanth Reddy Oath Ceremony: Anumula Revanth Reddy, the head of the Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP), has been sworn in as the state’s second chief minister. In addition to Revanth Reddy, eleven MLAs were sworn in as ministers.

President Sonia Gandhi of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), President Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress, President Rahul Gandhi of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Karnataka, and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar K attended the swearing-in ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by almost a lakh people.

Revanth Reddy Oath: Today, Revanth Reddy will be sworn in as Telangana‘s chief minister. The state’s assembly elections were won by Congress. Revanth Reddy was named Telangana’s next chief minister on Wednesday, according to a statement made by party general secretary KC Venugopal.

In Telangana, eight MLAs, one Deputy Chief Minister, and the Chief Minister will all take the oath of office as ministers. Revanth Reddy visited Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi earlier on Wednesday. Upon his return from Delhi, he was greeted by Congress workers.

Revanth Reddy, the 56-year-old president of the Telangana Congress, will be sworn in Thursday afternoon at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.

To attend Reddy’s swearing-in ceremony, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and President Sonia Gandhi of the Congress Parliamentary Party reached Hyderabad. Revanth Reddy had arrived at the airport to greet the party’s upper echelons.
