President Election 2022: Yashwant Sinha will be the candidate from the opposition in the presidential election in 2022. Its formal announcement will be made at 2:30 pm. According to sources, Yashwant Sinha’s name was approved in the meeting of opposition parties held at NCP chief Sharad’s residence in Delhi on Tuesday.

A former Union Finance Minister and External Affairs Minister in the NDA government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Yashwant Sinha served in two different capacities. In 2021, he joined the Trinamool Congress after leaving the BJP in 2018. After the assembly elections last year, he became the party’s national vice president.

These three veterans turned down the offer
