Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena UBT, has been found guilty in the defamation case. He was given a sentence of 15 days in jail and a Rs 25,000 fine.

In reality, Raut had charged Medha with taking part in a Rs 100 crore toilet scam. Medha Kirit Somaiya, Kirit Somaiya’s wife, accused him of slander over this. A Rs 100 crore defamation suit has been launched against him by Medha.

In a defamation case, Dr. Medha Kirit Somaiya, the wife of BJP politician Kirit Somaiya, filed a complaint. As a result, Metropolitan Magistrate Mazgaon found Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut guilty. This info has been provided by Vivekananda Gupta, Kirit Somaiya’s attorney.

The case relates to 2022. Medha Somaiya was charged by Sanjay Raut with taking part in the Mulund toilet scandal. Kirit Somaiya then pressed Sanjay Raut to produce a proof for this claim. However, since Sanjay Raut failed to present any evidence, Medha Somaiya sued him for defamation, suing him for Rs 100 crore.
