First train leaves from Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya, Union Minister Anurag Thakur flagged off

Groups of worshippers boarded the first train that Union Minister Anurag Thakur flagged off as it departed for Ayodhya from Himachal Pradesh.

In the early morning, he launched the “Aastha Train,” which for Lord Ram devotees was a momentous occasion that would take them from Amb Andaura to Ayodhya Dham.

Speaking at the event, Hamirpur MP Thakur expressed happiness that the train carrying 1,074 worshippers had left Amb Andaura in the Una district.

Indian Railways has announced to run a Ramayana Circuit Train to see the major places associated with Lord Shri Ram. Ayodhya will be one of the places this train stops. The Ramayana Circuit’s first train will depart from Safdarjung Station in Delhi on Sunday.

Today (November 7), Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station is the departure point for the ‘Ramayana Circuit’ train. The journey of this train will take 17 days, and it is scheduled to stop at many places associated with the life of Lord Ram, including Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, and Chitrakoot.

According to the information provided by IRCTC, this train has two types of coaches – first AC and second AC. As for security, CCTV cameras are installed on the train, and there is a security guard in each coach. On the train, there are also facilities such as two dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, and a shower room.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) confirmed yesterday that such a journey will begin on November 7. This information was available through PTI-language reports. Then four other trains will leave as well.

In order to serve South India’s religious tourism market, the IRCTC will operate Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Madurai. Madurai will be served by a train that departs for Hampi, Nashik, Chitrakoot, Allahabad, Varanasi, and then returns to Madurai.

16th November will be the departure date. There will be a departure on 25 November for the Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Sri Ganganagar.
