51 IAF aircraft will participate in the Republic Day parade; 13 helicopters and one heritage aircraft included

Republic Day: The Indian Air Force‘s Wing Commander Manish has provided extensive details about the Republic Day Parade. 51 aircraft in all would take part in the Republic Day parade, he said. Of these 51 aircraft, 29 are fighters, 8 are transports, and 13 are helicopters.

Let us inform you that the major feature of this year’s Republic Day will be weaponry Made in India. During the procession, indigenous weapons including the anti-tank missile Nag, the Pinaka multibarrel rocket launcher, and the LCH Prachanda helicopter will be on show.

“C-295 aircraft will take part in the Republic Day parade for the first time,” stated Wing Commander Manish. In this ceremony, the Indian Air Force will also present Tangail Airdrop. Additionally, he disclosed that LCA Tejas will be taking part in the Republic Parade for the first time. Tejas formation will be flown by four aircraft.

The Indian Air Force’s marching contingent in the Republic Day Parade will be led by Squadron Leader Rashmi Thakur. Alongside him will be Flight Lieutenant Kirti Rohil, Squadron Leader Pratithi Ahluwalia, and Squadron Leader Sumita Yadav. As the tri-service contingent’s supernumerary officer, Flight Lieutenant Srishti Verma will march.

In addition to these weapons, there will be displays of Made in India weapons such as the T-90 tank, the BMP-2 infantry combat vehicle, drone jammers, advanced all-terrain bridges, surface-to-air missiles, and multifunction radars.
