Delhi excise policy case: On Thursday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal received a significant reprieve. In the money laundering case, Rouse Avenue Court granted him bail. The judge granted bail with a one lakh rupee bond.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) asserted during the hearing earlier on Wednesday that Arvind Kejriwal had asked for a bribe of Rs 100 crore about the liquor policy. Kejriwal made an appearance through video conference throughout the session.
Saturday’s ruling by the Delhi High Court dealt a blow to Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who has been charged by the ED in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy Scam.
The High Court has issued a notice to Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of the CM of Delhi, and other individuals for sharing the lower court’s proceedings on social media.
In reality, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was heard in a video that Sunita Kejriwal posted on her X account, making his case to the judge inside the court. The audio recording that was posted by Akshay, an X (Twitter) account, was reposted by Sunita Kejriwal. This footage dates back to when Kejriwal appeared in court after being detained by the ED in March.
The High Court ordered social media sites to take down any more posts or reposts of the day’s footage, as well as Sunita Kejriwal and the other five individual respondents in the case. The case is now scheduled for July 9 by the court.

Taj Express Train Fire: At the Okhla railway station in Delhi, a passenger train coach caught fire. Information indicates that the Taj Express train number 12280 has three bogies where a large fire has started. This accident has not injured any passengers. At present, efforts are being made to control the fire.
At 4:41 p.m., PCR was notified about the train fire. Six fire brigades arrived at the scene as soon as they received the information and started putting out the flames.

Water Crisis In Delhi – Regarding the Delhi water crisis, the Delhi government has now knocked on the Supreme Court’s door. The government of Delhi has asked the court to mandate that Haryana provide additional water.
The Delhi government of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has informed the court that the intense heat has raised the demand for water in the city and that we should be ordered to receive extra water supplies from the adjacent state of Haryana for a month.
Additionally, the government has stated that it is up to us all to supply Delhi with the water it needs. In addition, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal requested help from the governments of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in a tweet on Friday.

The Supreme Court gave a setback to Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the chief minister of Delhi. In the most recent instance, the Supreme Court registry declined to issue the plea asking for an extension of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail on Wednesday.
Kejriwal was given temporary release by the court last month so that he could take part in the Lok Sabha election campaign. He was told to turn himself in by June 2 after the elections were concluded.

Swati Maliwal Case: In connection with the assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal, Delhi Police has detained Bibhav Kumar, the chief minister’s personal secretary.
Not too long ago, the police arrested Bibhav from Arvind Kejriwal‘s CM House and brought him to the Civil Lines Police Station.
Swati Maliwal accuses Bibhav Kumar of assaulting her at the CM House. He repeatedly smacked her and gave her a punch to the gut. Maliwal stated in the FIR that Kumar had slapped and kicked her “seven-eight times” and attacked her “repeatedly with full force.”
Sources claim that the police also monitored the IP address of the email Bibhav Kumar submitted to Delhi Police regarding his complaint. After a protracted search involving multiple teams, Bibhav was eventually apprehended at the CM residence.
In response to the May 13 assault on Aam Aadmi Party MP Swati Maliwal at Delhi CM Kejriwal’s home, Delhi Police has taken action. The police will now begin their investigation on Friday after filing a formal complaint in the case on Thursday and arranging for Swati’s medical medical.
Delhi Police will first record Maliwal’s statement under Section 164 before the magistrate today in the assault case involving Swati Maliwal. Swati Maliwal, the Rajya Sabha MP, has arrived at Tis Hazari Court to give a testimony to the magistrate.
