Kia Motors increased the price of cars

Kia Motors shocks customers by increasing the price, will have to pay up to 1 lakh more

Beginning on January 1, automobile costs have begun to rise. Customers were shocked when Kia Motors raised the pricing of all of its vehicles by up to Rs 1 lakh. Beginning on January 1, 2023, the revised pricing is in effect.

The corporation asserts that the price increase was made to balance growing commodity costs as well as the expense of updating the vehicles in accordance with the new emission standards that will take effect in April.

There are five Kia models offered in India: the Sonet, Seltos, Carens, Carnival, and EV6. The business raised the price of every other automobile in India excluding the Carnival. EV6 has seen the most rise.

New Price of Kia EV6

For both EV6 models, Kia has raised the price by Rs 1 lakh. Following this, the cost of this electric vehicle has increased to Rs. 65.95 lakh from Rs. 60.95 lakh. Carnival’s costs are unchanged from last year. The cost of the MPV is unchanged between Rs. 30.99 lakh and Rs. 35.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

New Kia Sonet cost

The company’s Sonnet is the most affordable vehicle in India. The Sonet’s 1.0L turbo-petrol model now costs Rs 25,000 more than it did previously, while the diesel variant now costs Rs 40,000 more. Its 1.2L petrol version is now 20,000 rupees more expensive.

New price of Kia Seltos

The Kia Seltos 1.4L turbo petrol model is now Rs 40,000 more expensive than it was before. While the 1.5L NA petrol version has increased in price by Rs. 20,000. The SUV’s 1.5L diesel version has also increased in price by Rs 50,000. Its current cost ranges from Rs. 10.69 lakh to Rs. 19.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Kia Carens pricing

The cost of the Kia Carens MPV’s 1.5L petrol model has gone up by Rs 20,000, while the cost of the 1.4L turbo petrol variation has gone up by Rs 25,000. While the price of the diesel version has increased by Rs 45,000. The Cairns’ new price varies from Rs. 10.20 lakh to Rs. 18.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
