Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut found guilty in defamation case, sentenced to 15 days and fined Rs 25,000

Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena UBT, has been found guilty in the defamation case. He was given a sentence of 15 days in jail and a Rs 25,000 fine.

In reality, Raut had charged Medha with taking part in a Rs 100 crore toilet scam. Medha Kirit Somaiya, Kirit Somaiya’s wife, accused him of slander over this. A Rs 100 crore defamation suit has been launched against him by Medha.

In a defamation case, Dr. Medha Kirit Somaiya, the wife of BJP politician Kirit Somaiya, filed a complaint. As a result, Metropolitan Magistrate Mazgaon found Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut guilty. This info has been provided by Vivekananda Gupta, Kirit Somaiya’s attorney.

The case relates to 2022. Medha Somaiya was charged by Sanjay Raut with taking part in the Mulund toilet scandal. Kirit Somaiya then pressed Sanjay Raut to produce a proof for this claim. However, since Sanjay Raut failed to present any evidence, Medha Somaiya sued him for defamation, suing him for Rs 100 crore.

Rahul Gandhi gets relief in 2018 defamation case, gets bail from Sultanpur court

In the 2018 defamation case, former Congress national president and MP Rahul Gandhi was granted bail. In the continuing case here, MP Rahul Gandhi made an appearance in Sultanpur court on Tuesday to answer allegations that he made lewd remarks about Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Congress leader showed up under tight protection, and the court granted him bail.

Santosh Pandey, an advocate, provided information regarding Congressman Rahul Gandhi’s release on bail from the District Court. Rahul Gandhi turned himself in before the court today, he claimed. After he turned himself in, the court detained him for thirty to forty-five minutes. Following that, he entered and was granted bail (by the court).

The complaint against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra was filed by Sherlyn Chopra on October 14 after she alleged they committed fraud and mentally harassed her.

During a media briefing at the Juhu police station, she stated, “I have filed a complaint about sexual harassment, cheating, and criminal intimidation against Raj Kundra.”

In connection with the alleged creation of pornographic films, Raj Kundra and 11 others were arrested on July 19 during a police raid.

The Mumbai court granted bail to Raj Kundra in the pornography case on September 20 in exchange for Rs 50,000 in surety.
