MG Motors may launch two-door electric car by early 2023, know possible price and features

A two-door electric vehicle is being developed by MG Motor, which will reportedly be launched in India and global markets. An article claims the two-door electric vehicle will be called MG E230 and will cost under Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). MG’s E230 two-door EV is expected to enter showrooms in 2023, according to the report.

A few months ago, the MG ZS EV was introduced as the second electric vehicle by a company in the country. It offers an improved design, more features, and a longer range than the updated MG ZS EV.

MG E230 Electric Car Specifications and features

It will be based on GSEV’s (Global Small Electric Vehicle) compact package and easy-to-use platform, designed by SAIC-GM-Wuling. As well as the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV in the Chinese market, the Baojun E100, E200, E300, and E300 Plus also use the same architecture.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Internet of Vehicles (IOV), automatic parking, and voice commands are some of its smart features. Also, GSEV batteries are IP68 rated which ensures they are waterproof. Smart battery management puts a boost in the battery.

In India, the MG Small Electric Cars will be customized to meet market requirements and regulations. It is likely to come with a 20kWh battery pack with a range of about 150 kilometers per charge. Moreover, the E230 could be equipped with a 54-bhp electric motor.

Several safety features will be available on the electric car, such as dual airbags, antilock brakes, and rear parking sensors.

In contrast, the company hasn’t announced the exact details of the MG E230 electric car. A new electric hatchback may also be in the works for the Indian market in addition to the E230.

Toyota Mirai, India’s first hydrogen fuel cell electric car, will cover 650 km in one go

Experts say that Nitin Gadkari has introduced a similar vehicle, the union minister for roads and highways. The Toyota Mirai is a model of this car, which uses Advanced Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) technology that runs on green hydrogen fuel. It can cover a greater distance than electric vehicles. It emits water instead of smoke, which is a special feature of this vehicle.

This is the first FCEV car in India, the Toyota Mirai. FCEV is considered to be a world-class product since it is a global product. India’s government inquired recently about the possibility of testing the Toyota Mirai on Indian roads and in Indian weather conditions through the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) and Toyota Kirloskar Motor. The car will cover 650 kilometers once it is fully tanked.

Gadkari claimed in media reports that this is the first project of its kind for India. In place of water, it contains no toxic gas and is completely eco-friendly. This product is completely eco-friendly. Unlike petrol-diesel cars, Toyota Mirai does not take long to refill its hydrogen tank.
