Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gets interim bail from Supreme Court, Kejriwal will still remain in jail, know why?

In the liquor scam case, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. However, the Supreme Court’s larger bench has been tasked with handling the case of his ED arrest.

The CBI case against Chief Minister Kejriwal will now be heard by a three-member bench. It was informed that Kejriwal would stay incarcerated until the larger bench’s hearing.

The Supreme Court‘s bench of Justices Sanjeev Khanna and Dipankar Dutta has forwarded the petition contesting Kejriwal’s arrest to the larger bench. Kejriwal’s plea will now be heard by a Supreme Court bench consisting of three judges. In this instance, the Chief Justice will select three judges. Kejriwal has been granted temporary bail while the matter is still ongoing.

Kejriwal will thus be unable to leave prison for the time being. Although he has been granted bail in the ED case, he is presently under the CBI‘s custody. He will stay behind bars for the time being in such a case.

Skill Development Scam: The High Court has granted Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, a significant reprieve. He has been granted four weeks of interim bail by the court in the skill development scam case. Chandrababu Naidu has been given conditional bail by the court until November 24.

As per the court order, Naidu must surrender after four weeks (November 24). On November 10, the court will consider the primary bail petition in this matter. Naidu is only permitted to visit the hospital for a medical examination, according to other restrictions. They won’t be permitted to attend any other programs except from this one. Chandrababu Naidu has been directed by the High Court to refrain from engaging in political and media activities.

Remarkably, on September 10, former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu was taken into custody in relation to a purported scam involving Rs 371 crore and the state-run Skill Development Corporation. He has been detained by the Rajahmundry Central Jail since then.

The Supreme Court granted Congress leader Pawan Khera a huge relief soon after he was detained by the Assam Police. The Supreme Court granted Pawan Khera’s request for temporary bail. Assam Police and UP Police have also received notice from the court on the petition to combine the FIR.

The petitioner will be released on temporary bail from the Dwarka court until the next hearing date, according to the apex court. The Dwarka Court has been ordered by the court to provide Khera with temporary respite.

Ban on arrest till Tuesday

The arrest of Pawan Khera has been postponed by the Supreme Court until Tuesday. Three locations will have concurrent hearings for the cases filed against Khera. The court has also issued a warning to Pawan Khera for making offensive remarks.
