The Samajwadi Party‘s founder and three-time chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, is no longer alive. On October 2, Netaji was given a medical admission to Medanta Hospital for a bladder infection, blood pressure issues, and shortness of breath. His condition has been critical ever since. His organs had mostly stopped functioning. After nine days of fighting for his life in the ICU and Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Medanta, Netaji passed away at 8:16 am on Monday. He passed away early on Monday at the age of 82.

Akhilesh Yadav confirms Netaji’s death

He served as a minister at the Center twice and as Chief Minister of UP three times. During his time as defence minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav traveled to the border and won the army’s affection.
