Nothing will soon release its own smartphone. At 8:30 IST, the Nothing phone (1) was launched in India. The firm is holding its second-ever product launch at the event, which is taking place in London, United Kingdom. Nothing phone (1) over the previous few weeks has greatly raised interest in the phone (1) and officialized a number of crucial features.

The company has made some important information public, despite founder Carl Pei’s assurance that the Nothing phone (1) is about more than just functionality. The Nothing phone (1) boasts a Snapdragon 778G Plus processor at its heart and a dual-camera configuration with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor on the back. The phone (1) includes a new Glyph Light arrangement on the back that also has a semi-transparent design, wireless charging capability, and other capabilities.

The Nothing phone (1) is primarily constructed of recycled materials, but Pei points out that the aluminum frame is layered between layers of Gorilla Glass 5, so when you handle the phone, you can’t feel any plastic. Both white and black versions of the Phone (1) will be offered.

Running on top of Android 12 is Nothing Phone (1)’s Nothing OS. On the home screen of Phone (1), there is also an NFT widget. The Nothing Phone (1)’s 6.55-inch OLED screen features a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Two cameras are located on the back of the Nothing phone (1), as the manufacturer had announced earlier this month. In addition to a second 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor, there is a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and EIS. Pei displays raw camera samples taken directly from the phone (1).
The rear of the phone (1) has a red LED that illuminates when the video recording is active. According to Pei, the Nothing phone (1) records video in 4K and is recording the launch event.
The phone (1) has equal bezels on all sides
Nothing phone (1)’s four sides have equal-sized bezels on the chin, which is typically thicker. Pei claims that this is made possible by the phone’s flexible OLED panel, a technology found only in a few high-end flagship models.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, a 4,500mAh battery, and compatibility for 33W cable charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging are all included in the Phone (1). There will be three variations of the Nothing Phone (1): 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB.

Nothing Phone (1) Price details
As per Flipkart, the Nothing phone (1) starts at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. There is an 8GB/256GB model for Rs 35,999 and a 12GB/256GB model for Rs 38,999. All three variants of Nothing are on sale for a Rs 3,000 discount for the first time.
