CM Yogi is going to bring a new ordinance in the paper leak case, provision of life imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 1 crore

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, plans to introduce the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024 in response to the leak of exam papers for the RO-ARO and constable recruitment exams.

The state cabinet has given its approval to this idea. The ordinance stipulates that offenders face life in jail and fines of up to Rs 1 crore.

This proposal was adopted in the cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with forty-four other suggestions. The solver group will cover the cost of the examination if it is impacted by a paper leak or for other reasons. Additionally, companies and providers of services that engage in irregularities during the inspection will be permanently barred from the list.

Violent uproar in Lok Sabha, Bill on Delhi Ordinance to be tabled in Lok Sabha tomorrow

The Lok Sabha, the nation’s lower house of Parliament, was scheduled to hear the Delhi Service Bill today. However, the Lok Sabha was called off due to a significant commotion, and the Delhi Services Ordinance Bill will now be introduced tomorrow, on Tuesday.

This bill was supposed to be introduced today, which is Monday. Additionally, all of the preparations in this regard were finished. The MPs received a copy of this bill a day earlier, on Sunday. Due to the adjournment of the House on Monday, the bill could not be introduced. Regarding this measure, the Aam Aadmi Party has already begun to register protests. This bill will therefore be presented to the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
